From a young age Brendon Blincoe was determined to make his mark in Hollywood. He grew up acting in front of the camera, but found a successful career behind the lens as Producer and Casting Director for some of television's best reality shows.
He got his unexpected career start when he appeared as a contestant on a dating show. While on the set he noticed a posting looking for Casting Recruiters. Although he wasn't paid a dime, it was the perfect opportunity to go out, meet new people and learn about finding the standout personalities in a crowd. After two weeks of recruiting for free, Brendon was offered a full time job. From there he went on to work on MTV's hit dating show SINGLED OUT and over the next 6 years, he continued to cast numerous shows for the network
In 1999 Brendon moved to New York City and helped head up the "Real People" casting at Liz Lewis Casting Partners. Brendon cast commercials, print, television and film. Although Brendon brought in actors for these roles, he always recruited "real people" with no acting experience to audition next to the professionals. This often resulted in the newly discovered "real person" booking the job over those who had been acting for years. In 2002 Brendon returned to Los Angeles with an edge in reality casting and found success working on major network shows such as SURVIVOR, BIG BROTHER, FEAR FACTOR and THE APPRENTICE. As a Producer, Brendon also spent 4 seasons on the dating show elimiDATE.
In a career spanning nearly 20 years, Brendon has worked with networks such as VH1, CMT, E!, STYLE, ABC and MTV casting numerous shows such as JERSEYLICIOUS, FOR THE LOVE OF RAY J, ROCK OF LOVE WITH BRET MICHAELS, VH1 TOUGH LOVE, BELOW DECK and BROKEN SKULL CHALLENGE and REDNECK ISLAND just to name a few.
